Superintendent in a communication dated ,
addressed to the Committee on Grounds to whom the matter
was referred at the meeting of (V=20); it was

Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be and they are
hereby excused from the further consideraton of the subject, and
that the same be referred to the Committee on Lots.

Cambridge Taxes for 1870 referred to Com. on Finance

The subject of the taxes for the year 1870 assessed upon
the property of the corporation by the City of Cambridge having
been brought to the notice of the Board, it was

Voted, – that the taxes assessed by the City of Cambridge for 1870
upon the corporate property be referred to the ^consideration of the Committee on
Finance, with a view to obtaining an abatement thereof;
and with full powers.

Cambridge Cemetery Commissioners; renewed appln of for purch. of land.

A communication from Z. L. Raymond, chairman of
the Commissioners of the Cambridge Cemetery, renewing an
application for the purchase of a strip of land on the South
side of the lot owned by the corporation being a part of the
"Stone meadow," originally made in , having been
laid before the Board it was

Voted, – that the same be referred to the Committee on Grounds.

Edw. Palgemeyer, the late Propr to lower the Lot, (2976) purchased by Executors of.

A communication from the Superintendent, dated
, in regard to lowering the Lot purchased by
the Executors of the late Edward Palgemeyer, (No 2976) having
been laid before the Board it was

Voted, – that the subject be referred to the Committee on
