authority of the Board of Trustees; it was

Sec'y. instructed to reply to above communication

Voted, – that the Secretary be instructed to reply to the letter
from the Publishers of the Transcript dated this day, informing
them that the Board of Trustees have never taken any official
action in respect to the publications referred to.

Statement, &c. of Treasurer to Referred to Com. on Finance.

The Treasurer having submitted his Statement for the 3d
quarter ending , together with Trial Balances
for the same date, it was

Voted, – that the above papers be referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Upon the petition of the parties in interest representatives
