Trustees .

Purchase agreed upon

A Report was received from Mr J. T. Bradlee in behalf
of the Special Committee consisting of Messrs. Livermore and
J. T. Bradlee appointed at the last Meeting on the purchase
of the land West of the Cemetery, with full powers to purchase the
same should they deem it expedient to do so, – stating that they
had agreed to purchase the same from the Rt Revd John J.
Williams
, Roman Catholic Bishop of Boston, for the sum of
Sixty-five hundred dollars, ($6500.00), being one thousand
dollars per acre, should the title prove satisfactory.

Report accepted Appropriation of $6500 moved

Voted, – that the Report of the Committee be accepted.

Mr J. T. Bradlee then moved that the aforesaid sum
of Sixty-five hundred dollars, ($6500) be appropriated for
the payment for the real Estate in question.

Laid over to Next Meeting

The President announced that the above motion would
lay over for consideration at the next meeting of the Trustees
under Article 14 of the By=Laws.

Secy. ordd to Examine Title,

Voted, – that the Secretary be instructed to examine the
title of the said real Estate, and report to the Trustees.

The regular monthly Meeting of the Trustees was held
on Wednesday , at half past Three o'clock, P.M.

Present, the President and Messrs J. T. Bradlee, N. J. Bradlee
Livermore and Turner.

The record of the last Meeting was read and approved.

Title of land W. of Cemetery repd satisfactory.

The Secretary stated that he had examined the title
