February 23^d, 1871.

An adjourned meeting of the Trustees was held on
Thursday, February 23^d, 1871, at half past Three o'clock P. M.

Present, the President, and Messrs. Bigelow, N. J. Bradlee,
Brewer, Choate, Lawrence, Little, Livermore, Perkins, Rand,
Snow and Turner, full Board.

The record of the last meeting was read and
approved.

Election of Secretary and Treasurer

The first business in order bieng the election of
officers, which was postponed to this Meeting by special assign-
ment, at the Meeting held on the 15^th inst., a ballot was had
for the choice of a Secretary for the ensuing year and it appeared
that Samuel Batchelder Jr. was elected to that office as aforesaid.
A ballot was then had for the office of Treasurer, or the ensuing
year and it appeared that H.B. Mackintosh was elected to
that office as aforesaid.

Report of Com. App^d to nominate Standing Com^tees

A Report was received from the special committee
of three, Messrs. Rand, Brewer, and Little, appointed at the
last Meeting to nominate candidates for the standing Com-
mittes of the Board for the ensuing year, as follows
