Trustees. .
Election of the Superintendent
of the persons electes severally received the entire number
of ballots cast.
On motion of Mr Turner it was unanimously
Voted, – that Col. C. W. Folsom be elected Superintendent
for the year ensuing.
Geo. G. Spear recommended as Gate = Keeper
The President submitted a communication from
the Superintendent in reference to the election of a Gate=Keeper
for the ensuing year recommending Capt. George G. Spear ^Jr. for
that office, and enclosing numerous testimonials in his
favor. Also recommending that the Gate=Keeper's salary be
advanced from $700. to $800. On motion of Mr. Livermore, it was
Salary fixed
Voted, – that the salary of the Gate=Keeper be fixed at $800. –
for the year ensuing.
Election of Gate=Keeper
On motion of Mr N. J. Bradlee, it was unanimously
Voted, – that Capt. George G. Spear, ^Jr.be elected Gate Keeper
for the year ensuing.
The above elections of Superintendent and Gate-
Keeper were by hand vote, as provided by the By=Laws.
Supt.'s Salary fixed.
On motion of Mr Turner it was
Voted, – that the salary of the Superintendent be fixed at
$2500. for the year ensuing.
Treasurer's Salary fixed.
Voted, – that the salary of the Treasurer be fixed at $2000. –
for the year ensuing.
Secretary's Bill for Profl Services Ordered to be paid
The President called the attention of the Board to a
bill of $40.00 rendered by the Secretary for professional services
in examining the title of the lately purchased real estate West
of the Cemetery. After considerable discussion, it was
Voted, – that the Secretary's Bill of $40. for professional services
