Belmont consents to bear ½ expense

with the Town authorities of Belmont*, that the said authorities
after considerable discussion, and as the utmost limit of
concession, had agreed to divide with the Cemetery the expense
of the work in question.

Voted, – that the Report be accepted.

Appropriation for fencing, grading, &c., on line of Mt Aub. St.

The Committee having given notice at the previous
Meeting of intention to move an appropriation of thirty=five
hundred dollars ($3500]]. –) for use as above stated, it was, on
motion of Mr. Bradlee unanimously

Voted, – that an amount not exceeding three thousand
five hundred dollars be, and hereby is appropriated for the
erection of an iron fence on Mt Auburn Street on the line of
the Watriss Lot, and raising a portion of the present fence
on said Street, together with the necessary grading; said work
to be done under the direction of the Committee on Grounds.

Stone Farm. Prel. topographical survey ordered with a view to improvement

A Report was received from the same Committee to
whom was referred the ^consideration of the expediency of a re=survey & re=construction
of the Stone Farm accompanied by a communication from
the Superintendent and an experimental sketch of his
proposed design for carrying out the improvement projected.
the same having been carefully considered by the Board, it was

Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be authorized to
cause a topographical survey to be made of the Stone Farm
in general accordance with the Plan now submitted by the
Superintendent
, which is ordered to be placed on file.
