Fountain Av. &c. new Path leading from Established

A communication was received from the Committee
on Grounds recommending that a new Path be laid out and
established leading from Fountain Avenue Easterly, and
communicating with the rear of the Lots on the Westerly side
of Lime Avenue, as shown upon a sketch made by the
Superintendent. The same having been considered by the
Board, it was

Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds are hereby authorized
to lay out and estblish the said path in accordance with
the Plan herewith submitted.

Thomas P. Frost, damage done on his Lot (No 2332) to be made good by Corporation

The President submitted a communication from the
Superintendent
in reference to damage done upon the Lot
of Thomas P. Frost of Boston on "Decoration=Day" by the
over turn and breaking of a headstone costing about $75.–
which in falling broke same two rods out of iron fence in the
next Lot below. The President stated that he had notified
Mr. Frost of the facts and had assured him that the stone would
be once renewed without expense to him.

Voted, – that the above action of the President is hereby
approved, and the Treasurer be authorized to pay any charges
for the repairs authorized by the President which he may approve.

Increased office accommodations at Cemetery – Com. of Supt. resp'y referred to Com. on Grounds, & Com. on Lots.

A communication was received from the Superinten-
dent
in reference to an increase of office accommodation at
the Cemetery, and suggesting the use of a portion of the Reception
House
premises for that purpose. After consideration it was

Voted, – that the subject be referred to the Committee on Grounds
and the Committee on Lots as a joint=committee to consider & report.
