Proprietors. .
On motion of Mr Collamore, it was
Voted, – that a Committee of three be appointed by
the chair to receive, count and sort the votes for Trustees.
Com. appd to collect count and sort Votes for Trustees.
The chair appointed Messrs. John Collamore, John R.
Poor and Alex Wadsworth to compose said Committee,
who subsequently reported as follows, viz: –
Trustees elected
Whole number of Ballots case 84; – all of
which were for the following named persons, viz: –
___ | Edward Lawrence, | } To serve until 1878, |
___ | Charles F. Choate, | } By re=election. |
___ | Henry W. Pickering, | To serve until 1877, in place of E. S. Rand, resigned. |
Lack of Office accomdns at Cemetery
Col. Charles Amory called the attention of the Trustees
to the great lack of suitable office accommodations at the
Cemetery for the Superintendent and those employed by him,
and suggested a method by which this deficiency could be
easily and cheaply supplied. In reply, the Proprietors
were assured by the President that the subject had already
been considred by the Trustees, and would continue to receive
their attention.
No other business being presented, – on motion
of Mr Collamore, it was
Voted, – that this Meeting be dissolved,
Saml Batchelder Jr., Secretary.
