A monthly meeting of the Trustees was notified
to be held on Wednesday, August 14^t, 1872, at Four o'clock
in the afternoon. At the day and hour aforesaid, Messrs.
Turner, Perkins, Brewer, Lawrence and Snow were present,
but, in the absence of a quorum it was

Adjournment.

Voted, – that this meeting be adjourned to Friday the 16^t
inst., at Eleven o'clock, A. M.

An adjourned monthly meeting of the Trustees was
held on Friday, August 16^t, 1872, at Eleven o'clock, A. M.

Present, Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, N. J. Bradlee, Bigelow,
Brewer, Lawrence, Little, Perkins and Turner.

The records of the last meetings were read and approved.

Fitchburg R. R. Co. Claim of for Comⁿ for destruction of tree. Report of Com. on Grounds Vote, &c.

A Report was received from the Committee on Grounds
in reference to the claim made by the Fitchburg Railroad Co., for
the destruction of a tree; said Report being comprised in a
letter from the Superintendent dated July 15, 1872, stating in
full the circumstances of the case. On motion of M^r Turner,

Voted, – that the subject be referred to the President with full
powers to hold such communication with, and make such ex-
planation to the President of the Fitchburg R. R. Co. as he may
think proper.

C. M. Hovey's offer to make pay^t in shrubs etc., [for Lot selected by him declined]

A communication from M^r C. M. Hovey, dated February 14,
1872, enclosed in letter from ^^the Superintendent dated August 16, 1872,
