A monthly meeting of the Trustees was notified
to be held on Wednesday, , at Four o'clock
in the afternoon. At the day and hour aforesaid, Messrs.
Turner, Perkins, Brewer, Lawrence and Snow were present,
but, in the absence of a quorum it was

Voted, – that this meeting be adjourned to Friday , at Eleven o'clock, A. M.

Present, Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, N. J. Bradlee, Bigelow,
Brewer, Lawrence, Little, Perkins and Turner.

The records of the last meetings were read and approved.

Fitchburg R. R. Co. Claim of for Comn for destruction of tree. Report of Com. on Grounds Vote, &c.

A Report was received from the Committee on Grounds
in reference to the claim made by the Fitchburg Railroad Co., for
the destruction of a tree; said Report being comprised in a
letter from the Superintendent dated , stating in
full the circumstances of the case. On motion of Mr Turner,

Voted, – that the subject be referred to the President with full
powers to hold such communication with, and make such ex-
planation to the President of the Fitchburg R. R. Co. as he may
think proper.

C. M. Hovey's offer to make payt in shrubs etc., [for Lot selected by him declined]

A communication from Mr C. M. Hovey, dated, enclosed in letter from ^the Superintendent dated ,
