An adjourned monthly meeting of the Trustees was
held on Wednesday,, at Four o'clock, P.M.

Present Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, Brewer, Choate, Lawrence,
Perkins, Pickering, Snow and Turner.

The record of the last meeting having been read,
it was, on motion of Mr Snow,

Amendment of Record at p. 164 –

Voted, – that the Secretary have leave to amend so much
of the record of the last meeting as refers to the acceptance of
the report of the "Committee on the tenure and division
"of Lots", by stating that the said report was postponed to the
next meeting; and that the record so amended be approved.

Memorial Work of Art, [ Sphynx.] Placing of reported by Com. on Grounds.

A verbal Report was received from the Committee
on Grounds, through the chairman, stating that the removal
of the Sphynx from the premises of Mr McDonald, and its
erection upon the pedestal had been successfully accomplished,
and suggesting that the Committee on Grounds be authorized
to cause the said pedestal to be suitably inscribed. On
motion of Mr Turner, it was

Inscription of Pedestal of, ref. to same Com. with full powers.

Voted, – that full powers be granted to the Committee on
Grounds in reference to the inscription aforesaid.

Affairs of the Corpn. General Statement of by President; etc.

The President having laid before the Board a general
statement of the affairs of the Corporation, and submitted an
"Estimate of Assetts [sic] and Liabilities at the close of the financial
year 1872," as prepared by the Treasurer; having also called
attention to the number of operatives employed at the Cemetery
and their rate of compensation; and the various particulars
involved having been fully considered by the Board, – on
