Operatives: number & compensation of referred to Pres^t

Voted, – that the subject of the operatives employed by
the Corporation and their rate of compensation be referred
to the Com. on Grounds, with full powers.

Gen. Statement of Treas^r referred to Finance Committee.

Voted, – that the Statement prepared by the Treasurer, above
referred to, be referred to the Committee on Finance.

Chant lot. Notice given of vote authorizing purchase of.

Notice was received from M^r Turner of his intention
to offer, at the next meeting of the Board, the following vote; viz; –

"Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be authorized
"to purchase the "Chant " lot of land adjoining the Cemetery,
"between the Watriss Lot, recently purchased, and the Roman
"Catholic Cemetery."

Laid over under the Rules.

And the subject having been discussed by those present,
action on the same was deferred under Article IX of the By=Laws.

Lot 2517. *Josiah Vose. Report in readiness. Consideration of postponed.

The Chairman of the Committee on Lots stated that
the Committee were in readiness to report on the subject of
the Lot of the late Josiah Vose; but suggesting, in view of the
lateness of the hour, that the consideration of the same be de-
ferred to the next meeting.

Voted, – that the said Report be laid on the table for
consideration at the next meeting.

Voted, – that when this meeting adjourns it adjourn to
meeteat this place on Wednesday, the 25^t inst., at Four P.M.
