Trustees.

Dr. Bigelow's Resignation

The President having read to the Board a com-
munication from Dr. Bigelow tendering his resignation
of the office of Trustee, and a general desire having
been expressed on hearing said communication that
Dr. Bigelow might be induced to re=consider his intention,
on motion of Mr Perkins it was

Attempt to be made to induce recall of.

Voted, – that the President be requested to obtain
the signatures of the members of the Board of Trustees
to a paper addressed to Dr. Bigelow with a view of pre-
vailing upon him to recall his letter of resignation.

Office Safe. Investigation to be had to ascertain if it is fire=proof. Also as to expediency of a steam=safe attachment

Mr Snow having called the attention of the board
to the importance of ascertaining whether the safe at the
office No 16 Pemberton Square is or is not completely fire
proof, and whether additional security might be gained
by the use of a steam=safe apparatus in connection with
the present safe, it was, after discussion, on motion of Mr
Snow
,

Voted, – that the expedience of introducing a steam-
safe attachment on the safe at the office of the corp-
oration be referred to a Committee consisting of the
President
and Mr N. J. Bradlee to consider and report.

Monthly Statement of Sales of Lots: also revised Statement of last month's sales, accepted & placed on file.

A statement of the sales of Lots effected by the
Superintendent
and approved by the Committee on Lots,
to having been submitted
and read by the Secretary, together with a revised
statement of the sales of the previous month, – it was

Voted, – that the said statements be accepted and placed on file
