succeeded in obtaining assurance of his willingness to accede
to the unanimous desire of the Board by remaining in office.

Correspondence in regard to the above ordered to be recorded.

Voted, – that the Report of the President be accepted,
and that Dr. Bigelow's letter of resignation together with
the letter addressed to him by the Trustees be spread upon
the record. [See pp. 186, 187]

Insurance on Supt.'s House & Stable increased. On real estate held by corpn in mortgage, replaced.

The President also reported that, as instructed by the
vote of the Board at the last meeting, he had replaced the
insurance of $4800.– on Superintendent's House and Stable
written by the Mechanics Mutual Insurance Company, with an
insurance of $6000.– in the Insurance Company of North America:
also that at the request of the Treasurer the mortgages of real
estate held by the corporation had promptly furnished insurance
in satisfactory companies in lieu of the policies written by the
company first above named.

Voted, – that the above Report be accepted.

Voted, – that when this Board adjourn it adjourn to meet
at this place on Wednesday the , at Four o'clock P.M.

Monthly statement of Sales of Lots accepted & placed on file.

A statement of the sales of Lots effected by the Super-
intendent
and approved by the Committee on Lots from to , having been submitted and read by the
