Trustees.
A monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on
Wednesday, , at Four P.M.
Present Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, N.J. Bradlee, Brewer,
Choate, Lawrence, Little, Perkins, Pickering, Snow, and Turner.
Previous to the reading of the record of the last
meeting of the Board, and immediately upon calling the
meeting to order, it was announced by the chair that the
business first in order would be the choice of officers for
the ensuing year, this being the first Trustees' Meeting after
the Annual Meeting of the Proprietors. The Board accordingly
proceeded to ballot therefor with the following result, – as
announced by Mr Turner, who was designated by the chairman
a Committee to collect, sort and count the votes:
Election of President Secretary & Treasurer
Whole number of ballots cast for President, 9;
All of which were for John T. Bradlee, and he was
accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.
Whole number of ballots cast for Secretary, 10;
All of which were for Samuel Batchelder Jr., and he
was accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.
Mr Snow, having been designated by the chair a
Committee to collect, count and sort the votes for Treasurer,
announced that the
Whole number of ballots cast for Treasurer was 10;
All of which were for H. B. Mackintosh, and he was
accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.
Before proceeding to the Election of a Superin-
tendent, the chairman submitted and read a communication
