Trustees. Feb'y. 26^t, 1873.

February 26^t, 1873.

An adjourned monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held on Wednesday, February 26^t, 1873, at Four P.M.

Present, Messrs. N.J. Bradlee, Brewer, Choate,
Little, Perkins, Pickering, Snow and Turner.

In the absence of the President, the meeting
was called to order by the Secretary, and M^r Snow was
chosen chairman.

Candidate for Superintendent. Report of Com. app^d to nominate; accepted.

The record of the last meeting was read and approved.

A written report was received from the Committee
appointed at the last meeting of the Board to consider and
report a suitable candidate or candidates for the office
of Superintendent, stating that they had "attended to the
duty assigned them, and unanimously report the name
of M^r James W. Lovering of Cambridge as such candidate."

Voted, – that the report be accepted.

Ballot for. Time of commencing his duties

On motion of M^r Bradlee,

Voted, – that the Board proceed to ballot for a
Superintendent, with the understanding that the person
elected to that office shall enter upon the discharge of
its duties at such time as may be fixed upon by the nomi-
nating Committee in consultation with him, and with
the present incumbent.

Report of Committee on the ballot for.

M^r Bradlee having been designated by the chair
as a Committee to collect, count and sort the ballots
for Superintendent, reported that the whole number of
ballots cast was Eight, –
