A. M^cDonald; Issue of Gen. Permit to recommended.

A report was received from the chairman of the
Committee on Lots to whom, at the August meeting, was
referred the request of M^r Alex M^cDonald for a General
Permit to do^^stone work on private Lots, recommending that such
Permit be issued whenever the applicant shall furnish the
usual bond for $1000.– with two sureties satisfactory to the
President.

Voted, – that the report of the Committee be accepted.

Sales of Lots without reservation of intermediate space inadvertently approved by Com. on Lots;

A statement was also made by the same gentleman
to the Effect that through inadvertence^^{the Committee had in several instances} approved sales of
Lots made without the reservation of a space of three
feet between the fence limits thereof as required by the
By=Laws Art. X, [having done so in the case of the sale
of certain Lots stated upon the report of the Superintendent
dated September 1873, the deeds of which had not yet
been prepared.] On motion of M^r Choate it was

All such sales ratified and confirmed by B^d of Trustees.

Voted, – that all conveyances of Lots which, in pursuance
of the approval of the Committee on Lots have heretofore been
made by the corporation without the reservation of such
space between the fence limits thereof as the By=Laws in
force at the time of such conveyance may have prescribed,
be, and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed.

Sec'y. authorized to pass deeds of Lots contracted to be sold without intervening space.

Voted, – that the Secretary be authorized to prepare and
deliver deeds of Lots contracted to be sold without intervening
space, as set forth in the Superintendent's Report of the
18^t inst., upon approval by the Committee on Lots.
