The President called the attention of the Board
to books recently received, as follows; –
" Historical Account of the Alleghany Cemetery."
" History and Improvement of Spring Grove Cem-
etery, Cincinnati."
Treasr's Statements for quarter ending . referred to Com. on Finance.
The Treasurer's Report of the Receipts and Ex-
penditures for the quarter ending ,
also Statement of amounts due and unpaid for the
same quarter, having been submitted to the Board; it was
Voted, – that the Statements of the Treasurer be referred
to the Committee on Finance.
Monthly schedule of Bills referred to President.
A file of bills with accompanying schedule having
been submitted to the Board, and read by the Secretary pro
tem it was
Voted, – that said bills be referred to the President for
his approval, and payment by the Treasurer if found correct.
Additional Greenhouse Report from Com. on Lots resp'g erection of
The chairman of the Committee on Lots reported
in regard to the expediency of erecting an additional
greenhouse on foundations adjoining Nos 4 and 5, and
asked that an appropriation of twelve hundred dollars,
($1200.–) be made for that purpose.
On motion by Mr Snow it was
Cons. of deferred to next meeting.
Voted, – that a further consideration of the subject be
deferred until the next meeting.
On motion of the same gentleman, the Board
proceeded to consider the amendment of the By-Laws
proposed by him at the last meeting of the Trustees for
