Trustees. .

A monthly meeting of the Trustees was held
on Wednesday, at Four o'clock P.M.
Present, Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, N. J. Bradlee,
Browne, Choate, Lawrence, Little, Perkins, Pickering,
Snow and Spelman.
Election of Officers: –
The meeting having been called to order by Mr
J. T. Bradlee, and the names of the Trustees elected at the
annual meeting of the corporation on the announced
by him, and the statement made that the business
first in order would be the election of officers for the
ensuing year; – on motion of Mr Perkins, it was
Voted, – that the Board proceed to ballot for a President.
Mr Perkins having been designated a Committee
to collect and count the votes announced the result
as follows, viz; –

of which John T. Bradlee received | 8 | |
Henry W. Pickering " [received] | 1 |
Mr J. T. Bradlee President.
And Mr John T. Bradlee was accordingly declared
elected to the office aforesaid.
Previous to the ballot being taken, Mr Bradlee had
stated to the Board, in accordance with notice given by him
at a meeting of the Trustees held , that the pressure
of other duties rendered it imperative for him to decline to
be a candidate for re-election as President, and on the
announcement of the result of the ballot, he expressed
his appreciation of the compliment indicated by the
