All of which were for James W. Lovering, and he was
accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.

Salaries of Superintendent Treasurer & Secretary.

On motion of Mr Choate, it was

Voted, – that the salary of the Superintendent be
fixed at Two thousand five hundred dollars, ($2500.–),
for the ensuing year, and that he shall have the use
of a house with the grounds thereto belonging, the use
of a horse and vehicle and the services of one man,
at the expense of the corporation.

Voted, – that the salary of the Treasurer be fixed at
Two thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($2250.–)
for the ensuing year.

Voted, – that the salary of the Secretary be fixed at
One thousand five hundred dollars for the ensuing year.

Monthly schedule of Bills referred to President.

The usual file of monthly bills with accompanying
schedule having been submitted by the Treasurer and read by
the Secretary, it was

Voted, – that said bills be referred to the President for his
approval, and payment by the Treasurer if found correct.

Halcyon Lake grade of certain Lots in vicinity of:

Mr Snow submitted a communication from the
Superintendent under date of the , relative to the
grade of certain lots in the vicinity of Halcyon Lake;
and the same having been read and considered, on
motion of Mr Choate, it was

Supt.'s comn resp.g. referred to Com. on Grounds to cons. & rep. & [land ordd to be withheld fr. sale until after report.]

Voted, – that the communication of the Superintendent
be referred to the Committee on Grounds to consider and
report, and that the land in the vicinity of the lots
mentioned in his communication be with ^held from sale
