Trustees.

An adjourned monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held on Wednesday, , at Three o'clock P.M.

Present, Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, Brewer, Browne,
Choate, Little, Perkins, Snow, and Spelman

The record of the last meeting was read & approved.

Receiving-Tomb. Subject ref. to Com. on Finance to cons. & report.

The subject of the Receiving-Tomb having been
taken up, by assignment from the previous meeting, ^, & fully considered
on motion of Mr Snow, it was

Voted, – that the subject be referred to the Committee
on Finance to consider and report.

Perp. Care of Lots with G. discussed.

The subject of the guaranty contracts for the
perpetual care of lots having next been taken up by
assignment from the previous meeting, a full discussion
was had, – particular information upon all the points
involved having been furnished by the Committee on Lots, –
and no action was deemed necessary.

Alex. McDonald; request for Permit for work on Lots ref. to Com. on Lots

A communication from Alex. McDonald, dated
, asking for "a permit to work in Mt Auburn
Cemetery," having been submitted, it was

Voted, – that said communication be referred to the
Committee on Lots.

Report of Com. on Lots on above application;

A report was received from the chairman of
that Committee to the effect that the Committee were
not aware of any authority contained in the By-Laws
for the issue of permits of the kind asked for in the
communication of the Messrs O'Brien & Alex. McDonald.
