Trustees. .

A monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on
Wednesday, , at Four o'clock, P.M.

Present, Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, N. J. Bradlee, Brewer,
Choate, Lawrence, Perkins, Snow and Spelman.

The record of the last meeting was read and approved.

Halcyon Lake. Sugg. drain into from Mt Aub. St via Sycamore Av. No action needed.

A report was received from the Committee on Grounds
with reference to a proposal made by the former Superintendent
to construct a drain from Mount Auburn Street via Sycamore
Avenue
to Halycon Lake, with a view to the better supply
of water in said Lake, – stating that in the opinion of
the Committee no action was necessary. And it was

Voted, – that the report be accepted.

General permits pronounced revocable.

A report was received from Mr Choate, appointed ^a Committee
at the last meeting with instructions to ascertain and
report as to the control of the corporation over the out-
standing general permits to do work in the Cemetery, stating
that from the examination made by him he was satisfied
that all general permits heretofore issued were revocable.

Voted, – that the report be accepted.

Issue of general permits not warr. by By-Laws Rep. taken from table & accepted.

On motion by Mr Snow, it was

Voted, – that the report of the Committee on Lots made
at the last meeting to the effect that the Committee were
not aware of any authority contained in the By-Laws
for the issue of general permits, be taken from the table.

Voted, – that said report be accepted.

Voted, – that a special Committee be appointed by
the chair to enquire and report whether, and in what way
