Note: Closing of Vol. 5.

At a special Meeting of the Proprietors
of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, held on Monday,
, a Code of By-Laws was adopted.
whereby, (in Article VI,) it was provided that

"The records of the Corporation, and those
" of the Trustees shall be separate and distinct."

The present volume of records, therefore,
wherein, as in previous volumes, the minutes of
proceedings both at the meetings of the Proprietors,
and of the Trustees, have been entered consecutively,
in order of time, is now closed.

The minutes of the proceedings at the
Proprietors' meeting of referred to
above, will be found recorded in volume marked

"Proprietors' Records, 6 ="

The minutes of the proceedings at meetings
of the Board of Trustees, subsequent to the meeting
of , above recorded, will be found
entered in volume marked

"Trustees' Records 6 ="
