[Lot #1636 Petition of] Harriet F. Lamb and others
that the body of Timothy P. White, a great-grandson of the
said George Nichols might be interred in the same grave with
the body of Mary N. White, in Lot No. 1636, formerly owned by
the said George Nichols and re-conveyed by the said Mary
N. White and his other heirs-at-law to the Corporation in trust,
with provision for the interment therein of the bodies of the
children and grandchildren of the said George Nichols and
the husbands or wives of such children and grandchildren,
and it was voted that the petition be granted.

Com. on Finance Mr. Beal appointed
The election of Mr. Cummings as President having
created a vacancy in the Committee on Finance, the
President appointed Mr. Beal to fill the same until
the Committees should be appointed subsequently to the
Annual Meeting of the Corporation.

J. M. Sears Resolutions adopted
Mr. Choate for the Committee appointed to prepare
resolutions on the death of the late Joshua M. Sears reported the
following 448: "The Trustees are desirous of entering upon their
records, their deep sorrow at the death of Joshua Montgomery Sears.
Mr. Sears was elected a Trustee at the Annual Meeting on , and continued in the office until his death on
, and served as a member of the Committee on
Grounds during the whole time.

Interested in horticulture and landscape gardening and
always active and attentive to business and familiar with
financial affairs, his services have been of great value to the
Corporation. We have always found him a pleasant associate
