Greenhouses Appropriation Voted
The President, in accordance with the notice given at the
meeting of asked for an appropriation of
Three Thousand dollars to be expended in necessary repairs
to the Greenhouses at the Cemetery, and it was

Voted. That the sum of Three Thousand dollars be ap-
propriated for that purpose.

Crematory Appropriation Voted.
The President, in accordance with the notice given at the
meeting of asked for an appropriation of
Fifteen Thousand dollars, to be expended in the erection
of a Crematory building at the Cemetery, and it was

Voted. That the sum of Fifteen Thousand dollars be
appropriated for that purpose.

Plans approved
Mr. Willard T. Sears then presented plans showing pro-
posed alterations in the Old Chapel to render it available for the
purposes of a Crematory, and explained the same to the Board,
in detail. After extended general discussion, it was

Voted. That the plan of altering the Old Chapel for use as a
Crematory be adopted, and that the President be, and he here-
by is, instructed and empowered to first obtain the appro-
val of the State Board of Health, and then to make all neces-
sary contracts for the alteration of the Old Chapel into a
Crematory substantially in accordance with the plans presented
by Mr. Sears.

Telephone at Office
The subject of placing a telephone in the office at Boston
was presented and, after discussion, it was Voted, that the
matter be left in the hands of the President, with power.
