Estate H Shuttleworth Terrace Release of Passageway authorized
Voted. That the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount
Auburn, being a corporation, as the holder in trust for
its repair fund, of the mortgage hereafter mentioned, enter
into an indenture dated , with Henry M.
Whitney and others, releasing to said Whitney all rights
of way, drainage and the like, and easements and
interest whatsoever in and to a strip of land situate in
Brookline, in the County of Norfolk, containing 1166 2/10 square
feet, being shown and marked "A", on the plan first here-
inafter mentioned, said strip forming a part of the pas-
sageway, twenty (20) feet wide in the rear a parcel of
land also situate in said Brookline and shown and marked
"D", on the plan secondly hereinafter mentioned, such in-
denture, however, to provide for the laying out of said pas-
sageway over other land adjoining the same on the Southwest
side thereof, so that the same shall remain twenty (20) feet
wide. Both of said plans are made by French and
Bryant, civil engineers, said strip being shown on a plan
dated , and said parcel marked "D" being
shown on a plan dated and centered
with Norfolk Deeds, in Book 809, page 172.

Said mortgage was given by Eugene R. Knapp, junior,
to Edward H. Eldredge, dated , and recorded
with said Deeds in Book 740, page 235, and covers the par-
cel of land in said Brookline Known as No. 4. in Shuttle-
worth Terrace; and Israel M. Spelman, the President,
and Henry B. Mackintosh, the Treasurer, of said corporation
