foundation for said pedestal, be borne by the
Corporation. - They further recommend that
all work necessary to carry out the suggestions
of this report be done under the directions of
the Committee on Grounds; and that said
Committee be authorized and empowered to
decide upon the location of said statue, and
to make such changes in any Avenue or
Path as may in their judgment be desirable
in order to adapt the location to the requirements
of the Statue. -
