ensuing year, I respectfully ask you gentlemen
to increase my salary. The Expenses of living
has increased 33 % during the 18 months I have been
here, and up to this present time, I have drawn
over and above my Salary the sum of $42500 from my private resources, in order to defray the
current expenses of my family, which altho it is not
large, is by no means extravagant!

Hoping you will take this matter into
consideration
