Dear Sir,

The above diagram represents the
location of my lot at M^t. Auburn ~

The facts in the case are these - viz

I was an original & early subscriber but did not
locate my lot until I think in 1843 or 4 - -

I relocated the lot marked C on the west side of
the Lawrence lot - the next one was taken by Mr.
Abbot Lawrence for the Bigelow family - the lot
contained 500 sq. feet & I paid the^^money [from?] to the
Trustees & took a Deed - Some months afterward
Mr. L. & myself were notified that the Trustees
had determined not to locate any lots on the west
side of the Lawrence ^^lot being desirous of enlarging the
area in front ^^{of the} church - we then changed our location
to the North side of the Lawrence lot (see above), - A year
or two after this Mr. Amos Lawrence being desirous
