In response to your inquiry in
which you ask me if there exist
any publications that describe crematory apparatus
in use and what combustible is used in them.

I have the honor of informing you
that I do not know of publications
on this subject—but that you can
directly address the builders
of the two systems that are in use
at this time; one has been built
by the firm of Eoisoul and Fradet
111 Boulevard de l'Hopital in Paris,
and the other, the system of Mr. Fichet ,
civil engineer, was built by
Mr. Mittan, 3 Place de la Nation
in Paris. These devices function
with carbon oxide distilled
by the crematory apparatus of each
system and with hot air which
