Dear Sir,

The executors of
Israel Lombard decline, as I
am informed by Govr Washburn, the
proposition of the Comee on Lots— to guaranty
the perpetual care of lot No. 497 for the
sum of $500. for want of funds at their con--
trol for the purpose—

And they wish to know if the
Corporation will accept the bequest
of $300. upon the terms named
in the will.

I send you a copy of this clause.
