Capt Winsor

Dear Sir,

The Trustees last Monday
ordered a team gate to be placed near
or opposite the Engine house.—

The subject of your communication
"personal"— was referred to a Comee
of three to inquire and report,— consisting
of Messrs Nazro, Little & Livermore.

Mr. Crocker for this Comee on Interment
reported on the subject of burial fees—
on which I wish to make a word of in--
quiry.— ^first saying By suggestions & modifications from
Members of the Board, the Comee reported, &
the following tariff of prices was ordered—
without however appointing any time
for the plan to go into operation:—

(over)

For opening grave & records int. 5.00
"[for] "[opening] "[tomb] for child under 10 yrs 3.00
opening & closing tomb at discretion of Supt $3.00 to $5.00
Depost in [Rec..g?] Tomb 20.00
Of which will be refunded upon
removal of the body to any part of
the Cem.y within four months.
Building a brick grave 20.00"

Nothing is contained in the report about
the amount to be refunded in case
of deposit in the R.T. Mr Crocker
said he believed you proposed $14.—
You perceive, if left when it is, you get
but the same for putting body in R.T. & remov--
ing it to a lot which you get in the case
of a first internment in a lot.

Then again, have you but one price for
brick graves— or do you wish to promulgate other
prices— or for other sizes?— When do you wish
the rule to go into effect? I suppose we had
better give notice to the undertakers. Trusted
of throwing away all our blanks.
