by mail tomorrow.

Mr J. Huntington Wolcott has
finally arranged this matter of purchasing
additions to his lot & that of T. Frothingham.

I send you a tracing from plan made by
Shedd & Edson. One end of the paper shows
you how the lots were laid out, as shown
on the sectional survey. By bringing lots 1779
& 1869 into uniformity of size &c. with the four
original lots, making now six lots in one
arrangement, the lots are thrown back some--
what from Snowdrop P. & we sell spaces for:
burial purposes and a large spot of front as
ornamental ground. The only stick has been on the
price of this 421 ft.— which regularly would have
been 25 cts. Mr Curtis authorized me to do the
best I could with Mr. Wolcott. He has ^finally offered
17 cts. & I have given him to understand that
it would be so concluded— for the piece being
in the front of their lots, it would
have been a difficult thing to sell to other
parties.

Will you then please report as surveyed—

Addn to lot 1779- 220 f. @ 50 ct. $110.—
"[Addn] "[to] "{lot 1869} 120 f. " [@] " [50] " [ct] 60.
Ornamental "Addn " [to] " [lot 1869] 421 f "[@] 17 " [ct] 71.57
space "Addn " [to] " [lot 1869] 124 f " [@] " [17] 21.08
___ ___ ___ ___ 262.65
Two posts are also required on the
easterly corners of lots 1779 & 1869. What further
indications of title by granite posts the
parties may hereafter desire, I cannot say—
Now they will have a plan in conformity
with this sketch. If you need Shedd;
^now to fix the location of bounds, say so. He will
now likely have to go again to get exact loca-
tion of the monuments.—

Truly yours
A.J. Coolidge
