these proprietors as to the manner of
setting the curb, or the position of the lot,
in consequence of which the work
was stopped, and still stands un--
finished. The proprietors state
that they have been unable to
come to any terms with the
Superintendent, and wish now
to take their appeal to the Trus--
tees. I have instructed them
that your Committee, by the By laws,
have jurisdiction in the matter,
if they see fit to apply to you.

Mr Stickney will state the
facts for the proprietors in such
manner as you desire. Of course
the Supt will desire to be heard.

Accompanying this is a tracing from our
plan of the position of the lots with respect
to the Avenue, which I will say was fixed
some time after purchase, upon the new survey,
by finding these lots without bounds, and may therefore
deviate from the original position. --

Dear Sir,

Your application to
know for what sum this Corpor--
ation would contract to keep
in perpetual repair your lot, num-
bered 580
in the Cemetery, situ-
ated upon the avenue or way
called Indian Ridge Path, has
been reported to the Committee on
Lots and duly considered by them,
and they have directed me to
notify you that they will recom--
mend the Corporation to assume
said obligation for the sum of
four hundred and fifty dollars.

When ready to pay over the funds,
please notify me and I will prepare
the necessary papers.

Yours very Respy.
