Dear Sir,

At the monthly meeting
of the Trustees of Mount Auburn Cemetery,
on Monday 7th inst, the following vote was
adopted: --

"That the Superintendent be instructed
to engage from six to twelve suitable laborers,
to be employed through the winter, if necessary,
in removing superfluous trees from the Cemetery, --
the work to be done with such caution as not
to occasion damage to or in proprietors' lots,
and under the direction of the Committee on
Grounds, as to the particular trees to be
removed." --
