Capt Winsor,

Dear Sir,

Mr J.C. Converse
wishes me to say that he is ready to take
the land as surveyed by you in addition
to lot 889 on Poplar & Willow Avenues. --He
thinks he left it so a year ago, when he talked
with you, but as you showed him a plan, and he
did not decide upon the granite contract, he
says you may have recd the impression that he
left both undecided. He would have preferred a little
less of a jog on the west side - but is willing to lease
that to you.

I have told him that he will have to pay $1.00
per foot for his land now, when he could have
recd it, if he had been more punctual, at 50 cts.

He says if you will report the amount
to be added, he will pay for it, at any time.

As the matter has been lying unfinished with
me for two or three years, the event is to be very
much desired; and I hope you will report it
forthwith.

Respectfully yours

A.J. Coolidge

Please say to Mr Safford, I would like the orders of interment for
Novr & Decr
