CH. P. Plympton Esq.

My dear Sir,

The Committee
on Lots, have instructed me to
inform you that this Corporation
will guarantee the perpetual
repair of lot no 1124, Ailanthus
Path
, belonging to your late father's
Estate, on payment of four
hundred and fifty dollars.

When notified by you of
your acceptance of this sum,
I will prepare the necessary
papers.

Truly yours

A.J. Coolidge
Sec.y

Mrs. S.D. Warren
Waltham Mass,

I have seen
Mr Don Carlos Ayer, a jeweler
in Hanover St., who is the propri-
etor of the lot you refer to as
at the left of your own -- no. 2094.

He says he is willing the branch
which extends over your own lot
should be cut off, or that the tree
should be trimmed up as much
as the Superintendent may think
necessary; but he does not wish
at present, to entirely part with
the tree. When the roots get more
extended, and it interferes with
burial purposes, he thinks, it may
have to be cut down. --

Very truly yours

A.J. Coolidge
Sec.y
