Dear Sir,

At the meeting of the
Trustees today, the followiong order was adopted:

"Resolved That the Treasurer,
Secretary, Superintendent and Gatekeeper,
be and they are hereby directed in no
case to act as paid agents or brokers
for the sale or exchange of lots, and are
hereby forbidden to receive any commis-
sion, fee or reward for negotiating
or effecting such sales or exchanges".

The subject of salaries was
reported and referred to the next
meeting. It is proposed to put
everything on a salary basis, and
abolish compensation by commissions.

Similar notice was sent the Supt & Gatekeeper

Dear Sir,

At the meeting
of Trustees held this day, it was

Voted that the Com-
mittee on Grounds be authorized
to cause the Iron Fence
enclosing the Cemetery
to be
painted, at an expense not
exceeding nine hundred
dollars. -- ($900)

At the last meeting, it was voted
"that the Secy be authorized to purchase
^for the use of this board 120 car tickets of the Union Railway Co. from
Boston to Mt Auburn, & distribute them
among the Trustees."

Which has been done, & the
[a/c?] rendered you & paid. --
