Capt. Winsor,

Dear Sir,

I believe I promised
to send you a statement of the granite
posts needed for points /or surveyors,
which you were to order: -

150 posts - from 2 1/2 to 3 feet long -
not less than 2 1/2 feet. The small
end to be six inches square, with
a drill hole in the centre, say an
inch deep. The surveyor prefers they
should be tapering, to heave less with frost.

The sooner we have these
on the ground, the better it will
please the surveyor.

Yours truly

Dear Sir,

In cases
where a lot is sold with a
condition to erect a granite curb within
a specific time, as I understand yours
is one - the deed is not delivered
until the condition is performed.

The proprietor is not com-
pelled (I will say in answer to
your question) to employ the Corpor-
ation to put up his granite work;
but it must be done under the su-
pervision of the Superintendent.

If there is any misunderstanding
on your part, I doubt not the
Corporation will refund the money
& take your lot.

Respy yours
