Dear Sir: --

At the meeting of the Trustees
of Mount Auburn held on the , resoluts
were adopted of which the following is a copy: --

"That it is the opinion of this Board, that the
convenience of the Corporation and the proprietors of
lots in the Cemetery requires that the duties of the Sec-
retary and Treasurer should be performed at the
same office, and that the rooms hired by the Trustees
on lease furnish the most desirable location." --

"That a Committee be chosen to confer with
the Treasurer, and report to the Trustees upon the
subject of the foregoing resolution." --

It was further voted

That said Committee consists
of three; and upon nomination by the President --

Messrs Austin, Read & Norcross were so chosen. --

I am directed by the Chairman to notify you
that there will be a meeting of said Committee, on
Wednesday, the at these rooms,
at which your attendance is requested. --
