Dear Sir,

I have just recd from
Mr Chas. R. Messenger of Toledo
Ohio
, propr of lot 3469, the enclosed
orders, with his draft to cover the
amount -- $65.00 -- paid in advance,
& he desires you to proceed to execute
the orders forthwith. $50. for new
grading & sodding -- $6. for care of lot
& plants, & $9. to be "expended in a
few suitable flowers, the selection of
which I will leave to your Superin-
tendent's taste."

He intends at some day to enclose
the lot with curb, but thinks the expen-
ditures here ordered will greatly improve
his lot. --

just called in, & desires me to say
