Dear Sir,

Your communication
to the Board of Trustees respecting the
charge for porterage was duly presen-
ted at the last meeting by Mr Rand,
and was referred to the Committee of Finance
with full power, which committee have
considered the matter, and directed
me to inform you that they
cannot see the validity of the
charge, and they are of opinion
that it should not be paid.

been standing nearly four years, &
which you would have recd long since
