J.M. Fiske Esq

Dear Sir,

The report of the Supt on
lot no 203 -- heirs of Benj. Fiske --
has been laid before the Comee on
Lots. The Supt reports that the
lot front of the monument is much
sunken, and needs raising &
resodding: that the cost of repairing,
painting fence, cleaning marble &c will
be about $49.00 -- The Corporation
does not accept a lot for per-
petual
care without requiring
it first to be put in proper
condition.

The Comee have authorized
me to notify you that, when
the lot shall have so been put
in order, the Corporation
will guarantee the perpetual
repair of the same for four
hundred and fifty dollars.
($450). --

I took the opportunity
to look at the lot the other
day when out, and from its
prominent situation it seems
to me of great importance
that its perpetuity should
be secured. I earnestly
hope that you may find
it practicable to do so.

Yours truly

A.J. Coolidge
