the lot with the monument
and grave marks which are worth
not less than $500, and con-
sidering the risks of injury to, &
perishability of granite in our
climate, think that $325.
is a moderate estimate for
assuming the perpetual repair.

They would be very glad
to meet you on $300, if they
deemed it consistent with the
interests of the Corporation.

But, considering the small
amount which your fence will
bring, the labor of removing it &
of setting the new posts, the price
named is no better than $300
would be upon the estimate of
the Supt in August last. --

The Committee are decided
in their view, & I trust, so
small a difference will not

perpetuating the care of your
lot.

If you signify your accept-
ance of the terms, I will
prepare the necessary papers.

I'm wondering why Coolidge, since being voted Treasurer, seems to still be Secretary as well. Sometimes he signs "Secretary & Treasurer", sometimes just "Treasurer" or just "Secretary." Maybe the positions were combined.

The Trustees made Coolidge both secretary & treasurer upon the resignation of the former treasurer.
