Two Designs for Iron
doors prepared in 1872 by Mr. G.
J. F. Bryant, the original Architect
of the Tomb, are enclosed in the
Portfolio; one of cast, one of plate or
boiler iron.
A very light and airy
door^ of wrought iron was prepared for the Forest
Hills Rec'g Tomb, by Messrs. Smith &
Savitt, You will find a note of their
estimate that they could duplicate that
door for $1000.00.
