Dear Sir,

On page 35 of the By-Laws
"Seventh" (of Form from Conveyance for Lots)
you will see "That if any monument or Effigy
or any structure whatever, or any inscription be
placed in or upon the said land, which shall
be determined by the major part of said Trustees
for time being to be offensive or improper, the
said Trustees or the major part of them, shall
have the right + it shall be their duty, to enter
upon said land + remove the same offensive
or improper object or objects"

By special direction of Trustees I am
[?] to strictly enforce this law, and to
entrust all placards or notices calling attention
to lots for sale [of such?] objects

I therefore request you promptly +
in all cases to remove all such objects or
notices in the grounds of the Cemetery.
