John T. Bradlee Esq
Prest

Dear Sir

The only safe which
we have at the Cemetery is too small to con-
tain more than the Interment Records and the
cash book & cash of the Gatekeeper.

It seems to me that the orders & books con-
nected with the annual care of lots & the
labor & materials department, are too valuable
to be left entirely unprotected at night & during
Sundays, especially as the Superintendent's office is
in a wooden building, and want of room at
the gate as well as convenience, require that it
should remain so.

I can get along without the safe, with out any
inconvenience, if the trustees feel disposed to
run the risk, whatever it may be.

Respectfully
J.W.Lovering
Supt
