West Medford Mass.

Dear Sir,

On Mr. Rayner's
lot the curbing falls 2 1/4 inches to the foot
on the 9 and 12 foot sides. If Mr. Rayner
proposes to put in any steps with the curb
on anything but the simple curbing, I
would like to know about his plan before
the stone is got out.

Respectfully
James W. Lovering Supt.

Dear Sir,

On the 5th of [July?]
we rendered you a bill amtg. to $107.31 which in-
cluded the care of your lot for the season of 1872
without plants. We are today informed by an
outside gardener that he has the care of your
lot, please write us if this is so, and also if
you wish us to discontinue the care of your
lot. We shall continue our care unless advised
to the contrary by you and we should be
pleased to have the care of your lot for 1874
upon the usual terms.

Respectfully
James W. Lovering Supt.
