Ms. Abby L. Faulkner
West Roxbury

Dear Madam,

In placing Lots
under the perpetual care of the Corporation
provision is made only for what is then in
the Lot, and the placing of Monuments, Myr-
tle Graves, and improvements of this kind
on the ground greatly increases the cost of
care to the Corporation. Under these cir-
cumstances, before you make any change,
I would like to have you write me fully
as to what you desire. The Corporation
wish to afford every chance to Proprietors
to beautify their Lots, but you will readily
see that if the income of the deposit is
only sufficient to keep the lot in its
original repair it will not suffice to
keep up any improvements.

Very respectfully
James W. Lovering Supt.
J.E.C.
