say, we understood you to say you de-
sired small plants, and they were fur-
nished you and charged at the lowest
figure viz., $1.00 each or $2.00 for both.

If however you are dissatisfied we can
exchange them for anything you may
wish which costs the same.

inst. enclosing order for Top dressing your
Lot @ $3.00 is recd. We do not think
we can afford to do this at a less
price than $4.00 as the price we charge
is only sufficient to cover the cost of
labor and material. Also, as other parties
are paying $4.00 for lots of the same size
as yours, we do not think it would be
just to do your work at a less price
than they pay.
