Dear Sir,

I enclose a bill rec'd.
by me this day and which the
proprietor refuses to pay upon the
ground that the damage was
done by some employe' of the Cor-
poration, as he had frequently called
attention to the fact that the gate
was left open by those who entered
the lot, and he had asked, a number
of times to have the gate kept shut
& locked, as he was afraid it would get
broken if allowed to remain open.

Please let me
know about it
